Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using Sipli (“the app”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sipli, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Sipli is a personal hydration tracking app that helps you monitor daily water intake, set hydration goals, and build healthy drinking habits. The app may use Apple HealthKit, Apple WeatherKit, WidgetKit, on-device Apple language models, and Apple-managed sync services to provide personalized hydration recommendations and keep your experience available across your devices.

3. Not Medical Advice

Sipli is a wellness and lifestyle tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Hydration goals are estimates based on general guidelines and your profile (weight, activity level, weather conditions).
The app is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
If you have health concerns about your hydration or fluid intake, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
Do not rely solely on this app to manage any medical condition.

4. Free Tier, Subscription, and Payment

Sipli includes a free tier for basic water logging and core progress tracking. Premium is optional and unlocks advanced features such as beverage types, AI insights, HealthKit sync, weather-based goals, activity-based goals, and smart reminders.

Free tier — Basic manual water logging, custom daily goals, diary history, and standard reminders are available without a subscription.
Premium plans — Sipli may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. The plans, prices, billing periods, and any introductory offers or free trials shown to you in the App Store or in the app at checkout are the terms that apply to your purchase.
Annual trial offers — Where shown, the annual plan may include a 1-month free trial or other introductory offer. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary by storefront and account.
Automatic renewal — Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment — Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Cancellation — You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store subscription settings on your device.
Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

Prices are set in App Store Connect, may vary by region, and may change over time. Any price changes for existing subscribers are handled by Apple under Apple’s subscription rules and notices.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate profile information (weight, activity level) for goal calculations.
Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
Not use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

6. Health Data

If you choose to connect Sipli with Apple HealthKit:

You authorize the app to read workout and active energy data and to write water intake data to Apple Health.
You may revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
Sipli processes health data locally on your device and does not transmit it to external servers.

7. Feature Availability

Some features depend on your device, operating system version, region, language, permissions, Apple Account status, or Apple service availability. This includes but is not limited to:

Apple Health integration
weather-based goal adjustments
widgets
on-device AI features
cross-device state sync

We do not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device or at all times.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in Sipli are owned by Anoop Jose and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sipli is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Accuracy or reliability of hydration goal calculations.
Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Fitness for a particular purpose.
Accuracy of weather data, Apple Health integration, or cross-device sync.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anoop Jose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health outcomes, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

11. Third-Party Services

Sipli integrates with the following Apple services:

Apple HealthKit — Governed by Apple’s terms and your device privacy settings.
Apple WeatherKit — Weather data provided by Apple Weather. See Apple Weather legal attribution.
Apple StoreKit — In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.
Apple iCloud / Apple sync and backup services — Apple may sync or back up certain Sipli state on your behalf when available on your devices.

These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Sipli is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

12. Termination

We may limit or discontinue access to parts of the app if required by law, platform rules, or misuse of the service. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscription.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
